squeaky suspension /steering
i have decided to re write this post as the last one did not read very well, so i will start again. i have a RR vogue 2004/5.
i have had no problems what so ever with this lovely car, and it can sit most weeks without going anywhere, even then, when it is used it is only for local use of may be an hours use into town and back. we live in the dordogne and as we have had some very dry warm weather of late, and the fact that the car can stand all week without being used, i wonder if this has contributed to the problem i now have.
basically when turning the steering wheel to the right i get a loud sqeaky creak coming from the drivers side front. it is there regardless as to whether the vehicle is being driven or just standing still. it does seem that it is at its loudest just before reaching maximum lock and if i gently rock the steering wheel. it is most noticable when i am going very slowly and for instance pulling into a parking spot. there is no noises or creaks when i put the steering on left hand lock.
does anyone know what it may be ?
