Can any1 tell me where the thermistat is located on my 1999 4.6 Range Rover

Off the top of my head, I can't. Just open the hood and follow the radiator hose to the radiator and the engine, you should see it.

I have an '02 4.6 and my dad just changed the thermostat last week, it was at the rear bottom of the radiator. He slid underneath the truck after ramping the front two wheels, he said it was an easy and simple fix. The thermostat was about $100 from the dealer.

It looks like a plastic artifical hart , with five hoses attached. the size of a handgranade. lower rad passenger side
