Default Tire Noise

I have a 2006 range rover HSE with 22 inch DPE wheels

I have changed the tires twice and still have a massive amount of road/tire noise.....i was told this was normal by the manufacturer....is that true?

Thanks in advance

Default RE: Tire Noise

22" tires could be pretty noise depending on the tread, they put a huge foot print on the ground and with little or no side wall, the tires will twist on turns causing more noise then normal.

Default RE: Tire Noise

Disco Mike is correct as usual, I had a similarissue on a BMW I previously owned, just do as I did!- turn the stereo up!!
(of course I was a bit younger then! - don't think my hearing could take it now!!)

This was a fun comment, don't take seriously!
