Default top tailgate gas struts

Hi, i have a rangerover 4 door, and im looking for the best place to buy good quality tailgate gas struts from. i have tried some of these cheap chinese ones and they arnt good, so im looking for quality..


has anyone got any recommendations as to the best place to get them from

I got the ones for my LR3 from rock auto. They were very inexpensive, and the seem to be better made than the factory struts. They have a metal socket instead of the plastic that broke on the Land Rover struts. I've replaced the hood struts too, but that's because the old ones wore out, and the hood kept hitting me in the head.

I'm with jafir, go with Rock Auto. Very good quality compared to factory. Oh by the way, I don't think tony knows his @$$ form a hole in the ground........just saying.
