Tyres
By now I can see that most people here own newer Rangies than mine.
Never the less, at present I have 215/15 tyres on. I know that the standard size is 16 inch. My vehicle is a 4 speed with a big gap between 3rd and 4th! I would like a bit more top end without too much of a power loss, so I would like to go up slightly on tyre size without changing to 16s. Changing rims and tyres would be out of my price range, so I would like to stick with 15s. I am running a 3,5 lt V8, which is pretty lazy.
Any ideas what size I should go to? I would also like the vehicle to look a bit more chunky.

First of all, why 15"s, harder then hell to find wheels that will fit your truck.
Stay with the 16's and run something like a 235/85/16 or a 245/75/16. Then work on doing a few things to pull a little more power from that 3.5.

Thanks Mike. I already have 15 inch rims on. They were on when I bought the vehicle.
How can I get some more power from the 3,5. It has high compression pistons, gas flowed heads, branch manifolds and a (yes I know[:-]) 38 weber twin choke. What else could I do?

I didn't realize you were in Africa, different set up on the engine then we have.
Possible higher out put coil, better plug wires, get creative with the plug gap and you can pull a little extra power.
