01 Disco II, not starting
Here's the run down to my first issue (of which I'm sure there will be more)
I was having a problem with the rear air suspension not raising all the time. Someone told me that the computer might need to be reset and I can do that by pulling the positive cable off the battery for twenty seconds and re-attaching it. I did this (I'm guessing for a total of 30 secs) cleaned the terminal and hooked everything back together all clean and snug.
Went to restart it and all I got was a series of loud clicks from the starter. I checked all the connections, everything is good as far as I can tell. No matter what I try all I get is the clicking noises. All of the interior electrical works (lights, radio, etc) but I can not start the damn thing. Any ideas?
By the way, I had no issues before disconnecting the battery.

First things first. You either have a low battery or and dirty/loose connection, so deal with that first. Once you get it started go to a local parts store and have them read your voltage at 1500 RPM's plus, should be between 13.6 and 14.4 volts.
As for the reset you described, disconnecting the battery cable will clear a soft fault, such as clearing the fault from pushing the lift button on your dash when trying to raise the suspension, it will not reset the computer.
Let us know what you find.

I was mistaken when I said it would reset the computer, I am going to recheck all the connections this morning. I found it an odd coincidence that I would have issues after I started messing with the battery cables. I thought I checked and rechecked all the connections thoroughly but, it is worth a second look. Thanks for your help Mike. I'll keep you posted.
