Need assistance in determing the need for the R6 and R8 relays for a 2001 Land Rover Discovery. I have had a very difficult time finding any diagrams or explanation as to what they are for or if they are needed. Currently there are no relays in both slots. Any help is appreicated.

 

R6 is for the glowplugs (if you have a diesel)
R8 is for the heated front screen (if you have that option)

So why does my V8 have a relay in the glow plug slot? Can I use that relay in the slot for the heated screen if I add it?
