Default 1972 Diesel Fuel distribution pump

My 1972 Series III is running great but I noticed on the fuel distribution pump that where the throttle actuator shaft enters the body of the fuel distributor is it dripping fuel. When I looked in the "Green Book" or manual it said not to try to repair or refurbish the fuel distributor.

Is there an o ring around the fuel actuator shaft inside the distributor or does anyone have an idea of how to stop the fuel leak around the throttle actuator shaft?

Parts are usually readily available for these pumps in the USA, because the Lucas/CAV pumps were used on tractors. Just about any diesel shop should be able to repair it for you I'd think.
