1990 Classic ALARM System
Hello All,
I submitted a thread on here a while back regarding my recently acquired 1990 RR Vogue SE. It has had LPG conversion. I let the battery go flat whilst i was using my other car.
Now it has come time for the MOT and i needed to get the car started. So i re-charged the battery stuck it in the engine bay. The red LED on the alarm system was flashing, as it did before. So i put the "thingamajig" similar to a pen lid onto the contact on the dash, this made the LED go solid. I then attempted to start the V8 monster. Beep Beep Beep went the alarm, i pressed the button on the L/R alarm key fob. Still alarming.
Why?
I cannot find this elusive reset switch!!!!!
Please Help!!
Regards
Bullets.

took mine to the dealer -- got new chips and the remotes cleared the codes. it was about $60 for the new chips -- install one in unit under speedo, one in each remote.
dead battery kills the ROM somehow.
