Default 1994 disco fuel problems.

I have a 1994 land rover discovery and i am having fuel problems. Ive chanegd the fuel filter and its been sputtering and acting funny and just shuts off. Well today it completed shut off and now it wont start again.

I pulled the floor up in the rear and checked to see if I am getting power to the fuel pump plug and I am not.

I am just wondering where the FUEL RELAY is. Some say under the seat... but I have not been able to find it.

I also pulled the fuel pump and connected power to it and it worked but could be that its working but not 100% which is why it was sputtering and stalling?

Anyway information would be great thanks again.

The fuel pump relay is behind the kick panel on the passenger side.

Download the RAVE repair manual, it is on the forum, do a search for it.
It is the same shop manual the dealer uses, it is free, it will have the relay location in it.

I downloaded the book and it does show where the relay is. Problem I am having is some one has messed with that area and all the relays and the harnesses are mixed up.

I see a bunch of diffrent color relays none are attached to the proper post so not sure which is which. I have tried jumping relays to see if I hear the fuel pump kick on and I havnt been able to find it.

Any other tips on isolating the fuel pump relay?

Well I read the book and it says the fuel pump relay will have a blue base which I assume that means the connector is blue if thats the case I think I found it.

I tried jumping it and I still get no power to the pump.. Now when I connect the pump to 12 V power it powers on. So I am kinda lost. Any one have any ideas?
