Hi folks,

I have a 1994 Disco 1 with 86K which has recently started leaking coolant at a pretty fast rate. Maybe 1 litre per 1-2 hours of driving. There is no smoke of any kind, during startup or driving. The car's heat blows luke warm at best now.

I cannot find the leak if the car is idling and there are never any spots on the driveway.

Any ideas?

I'm going to have it pressure checked this afternoon.

Found out the heater control valve is leaking all over the place. I've had a check engine light which, when the codes were read mechanic said it was the O2 censor. That makes sense because the heater control valve was probably causing coolant to leak all over it.

I ordered a new HCV off AB 50.00 total. I'll just get some generic hoses at the part store.

Is the HCV easy to install? It looks like it's just sitting there on top and pretty easy to swap out.
