Arrow 1999 LR RR SE4.0 radio

My 17 year old just got a 1999 SE 4.0 and it didn't come with anything just a blank key. Does anyone have any links to any books or owner manuals on everything about this year car. I called the dealer and they want $300 for a remote key ? Is there a way to buy a key and program it myself ? I could use some links to how to use all options that are in this car and advise on what not to do. Thanks in advance.

it requires special equipment to be programmed, best to look for someone with the equipment in your area. you may want to add your location in your signiture.

Default 1999 rover radio reset

I found the written information on the radio It's written in the Quean's English so it can be confusing but here is the link. It's great when people answer with written proof. I don't know how to edit the signature but my location is right outside NYC USA

Clarion units you hold down BND for 3 seconds and it resets to CODE IN, regardless of whether the wrong numbers or just dashes are on the display. It is correct that you have to follow the procedure in the pdf if you have entered 3 wrong codes. Also, you need to count because it doesn't act any different after the 3rd code, it just acts like the right code is wrong. When you follow that procedure, reset it to CODE IN first.
