Default 2001 Disco - lack of power

I have a 2001 Disco 2.5TD on which I recently replaced the fuel filter. After changing, I bled the system according to the LR handbook supplied('priming after an empty tank') and for a couple of weeks it was great. Recently I have experienced a distinct lack of power, both accelerating and towing. Is it likelyI still have air in the system and if so, where is the bleed valve in the engine? Any other ideas gratefully received!

Wish I could help, but there are so few diesels here in the States, I have never had a chance to work on one.

Hi smcevoy.
The Land Rover TD5 engine has a self priming fuelsystem.Does your engine take a while to fire up?Is your pump making a noise louder than normal?(sure sign of air in system)Try to have the faultcodes read and post them here.
Regards
Marius.
