Default 2001 disco stalling after decleration!!!help

hi recently my land rover 2001 has been stalling after decerlating then jumping back into gear after accelerating its getting scary and i dont want to damage anything so i come to you guys for help. i was thinking possibly low trans fluid or my torque converter is bad ive gotten the torque converter erros code . please lete me know what you think.

How many miles on your truck, when did it have it's last major service and when did you check/top off all your fluids?
Do you have a check engine light, if so what are the fault code numbers?

just bought the rover about 5k miles ago havnt had any major service done to it ie done all the work through a friend of mine but he is out of town i havnt done the tranny fluid yet but it was full last time i checked about a month ago but had a small leak it has 109k miles on it fault codes are torque converter stuck or off and something about gear 4 ratio
