Default 2002 Discover II - repair?

I purchased our 02 Discovery from a family member 2.5 years ago. They had it since almost new and I bought it knowing it needed repairs- cracked head (only paid $2K because of this). I put about $3600 into head repairs and rebuild. Ran great. Currently has about 130K miles. Developed a coolant leak recently due to a hole in a hose. This caused it to overheat and now I'm facing repairing the heads AGAIN and replacing the radiator. Another $3500 or so... Vehicle is in good shape, but I hate to spend that kind of money on it again. My wife was the driver so unfortunately I did not get to the issue quick enough to catch it from causing the damage it did.

So, the question is do I put that amount of money in it again or sell it "as is" for a little bit of money (maybe $1100 or so). KBB value only comes up around $3500...

Thanks for the input!

do not put another $3500 into it you can buy a different running one for less.
