Default 2003 Land Rover (Disco SE7) Sound system issues....

Screech when system is powered on, Rear door speakers do not work, looks like the FR door speaker is blown now, woofers in the back seem to work, mabye not as well as they ought to...

Crutchfield says the size is off, so i'm considering figuring out what size woofer to replace it with off maybe partsexpress or something.

Is it likely that i have a problem with the amplifier??

BTW i have the SE7 with cd changer.

What size woofers does it take in the doors??, should i check the signal wires, can i take said speakers out without removal of the door panels??

Any help is good help.
Thanks,

I cant remember the size we just pulled them out of the box and crammed them in. The panel needs to come off. The biggest problem with the speakers is water. The plastic shield behind the speaker fails and the water flows in and the voice coil seizes up. Pull the panel and remove one (passenger side) that way perfect match on size and OHMs. scott
