2004 Disco Ride Height Sensors
Wow this "new" discovery is wearing me out this week. Savannah helped me pin down an oil leak, but then i took it for a spin and the right rear airbag inflated ALL the way up... looked underneath, and the plastic arm on the ride height sensor had totally snapped off (!)
I ordered another, as a replacement, and in the mean time i thought it'd be really smart to removed the busted sensor so when I got the new one all I'd have to do is just bolt it in when it arrived.
Apparently that was a big mistake. I read AFTER the fact that it's important to disconnect the battery first, as to avoid an airbag fault.
Live and learn I guess - but my issue now is that the bags are COMPLETELY deflated, sitting on the stops in the back.
Once I get the new ride height sensor installed is there any way I can re-calibrate this myself, or did my stupidity earn me a trip to a shop, or worse the dealership???
Any advice would be greatly appreciated at this point...
Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the reply, Mike. I appreciate the fast response - I'm keeping my fingers crossed that when I replace that sensor, all will be well...
So I can just replace that, then close all the doors (and hood?) and start the truck, and they should rise back up for me, you think?
Thanks again!
