Default 3.9 rod bearings buick interchange?

has anyone used buick rod bearings from 1963 3.5 ltr in their rover 3.9. I have changed 2 out they fit well but a little wider . haven'y cranked it up, wanted some imput

The 3.9 is actualy the buick block cast, Land rover bought the cast rights from buick along time ago when buick discontinued the motor because the material the gaskets were made of would not seal well and leaks caused many of them to catch fire. Land Rover used better stuff and made minor changes but ultimately it is the same motor.
