Myself and 3 others are taking a 1988 Camel Trophy replica Defender across Africa later this year and we've hit on a snag.

The old engine was replaced with a 1995 Disco 300Tdi and basically the old cooling system is knackered - it just can't keep the replacement engine cool.

I want to replace the entire system but the issue is that I can't find much in the way online about replacement systems or even part codes for the individual parts. To that end, can anyone point me in the right direction as to finding somewhere that I can get a new coolant system for a 300Tdi ready for my mechanic to put in?

A quite a few Disco 1 & 2 owners rave about the Nissens brand radiator.
I don’t know anything about coolant brands, coolant pump or thermostats for a 300TDI. Hopefully someone else can chime in on that area.
