Default 89'range rover 3.9

I have an 89' RANGE ROVER with 3.9....Can anyone tell me what the second vacuum line on the back of the vacuum advance distributor should connect to? Does anyone know what would cause a beeping noise from under the dash?it only happens when key is turned all the way on and it only occurs off and on...I would appreciate any help..This is my first time on here so howdy to all the LAND ROVER community....I would really appreciate your help....

take a pic of the line you are referring to. the beep must be a warning beep for something.

Try pulling fuse 13. If the beep is gone then I would say there is something fishy with your transfer box warning relay. Can you shift from hi to lo?

Just took pics and now they wont upload.its my phone not doing it for some reason.but if it helps its the vacuum line that is coming off of the back of the vacuum advance on the distributor, the front one goes up to intake but there is another one on the backside of that.I have a haynes manual but it dont show that, but in pictures i can see a vacuum line coming off of it but I cant see where its going?thanks

I think that one just has a cap on it. There is an alarm when the tc is locked or in neutral, I can't remember which, when you first start it up to remind you its not in high unlocked.

It only does it after being warmed up.The same time this started I noticed that when Im in overdrive going about 60 and let off the gas I hear a rattling sound from where the transfer case is,think thats related? It only makes a slight sound when letting off the gas, sounds like from the top of the transfer case area..thank you for your help guys, this is my third RANGE ROVER but the first time for these issues..
