Default 96 Disco, missfiring, code P1316c need help!

I have a '96 Disco SD, 4.0L. I am getting a missfire on the 6th cylinder and and random missfire code, P1316. Have replaced spark plugs and wires and nothing changed. Any ideas on what else I can do to solve the problem? Any and all help would be greatly appreciatted!

Thank you

What plug wires did you use?
Have you checked for excessive sludge build up?

You need to use better plug wires, these things are super picky, I tried using cheap plug wires and had to replace them every 2 weeks.
Magnecore, STI or Kingsbourne plug wires.

I will try to get better wires and see if that helps. Not even sure if its the wires though, because I have scanned the check engine and one time I got the 3rd cylinder misfirig, after a couple days it was the 6th and now its the 4th one. Also got a random misfire going on.

I used a set of cheap ones and they were bad out of the box, that was before I knew better.

Have you checked the crank sensor and what plugs did you use?

SUCCESS! It was the spark plugs. Put in BOSCH Platinum Plus 4 plugs.

You probably had your spark plugs gapped wrong, you cant gap those snake oil +4's, but its running so go with it.
