Default 98 Disco MPG?

What is the average mpg for a 98 Disco V8i?
I also heard that they get better mpg in the UK because the US has many restrictions on the truck eng.

Better yet, what are you getting in town and on the road? How many miles on the engine, what have you done tune wise lately?

Don't have that car but I have friends driving it. They told me they are getting good MPG. Like 20-25 MPG. They usually go on a long trip.

Karen,
20 is workable, 25 MPG would have to be a 30 MPH down hill with a tail wind.

That's what I was thinking, about 15 to 20 and that's after I recalculate for the difference between the odometer & distance traveled which is off by 1 in 4 miles traveled using highway markers. I don’t think I’ll be getting any speeding tickets in my wife’s truck.
Thank for all your help on this. Does anyone have some input on the other question.
Or is it pretty much a mute subject?

Default Real Mileage

EPA window sticker for my Disco I is 14mpg city and 16 mpg hwy.

What I get with power robbing mileage killing Ethanol E10 is 12 to 13mpg in town and 13.5 to 15 mph hwy.
Now with the NONethanol fuel I get 1.5 mpg better overall.
