98 discover torque converter bolts

Default 98 discover torque converter bolts

i am replacing the tranny in my 98 discovery,my question is how do you put the torque converter bolt access plug back in when everything is back together

If you mean the plate on the lower part if the trans. I think you have to remove the oil pan on the motor.

no not the inspection plate,theres a little aluminum plug thats about 2 inches round that i knocked out to access the bolts,but i was thinking i was going to have to drop the pan to get it ,thanks

Got you. I always remove the inspection plate to get to the bolts.
