98 discovery fuel pump not working
i recently had to remove my engine, thought i had hooked everything up ,but apparently not.Is there a specific ground that i might of missed to make the fuel pump not kick on.any ideas would be great thanks
Have you checked the inertia switch? Maybe it got tripped? Black rubber covered swith on passenger side firewall. Push down on top. Or bypass it.
There is also a fuel pump relay under the hood near charcoal canister, make sure it's connected.

Upon replacing it the vehicle started immediately and ran smoother than ever - for a week - when the week-old ignition amplifier unit gave up the ghost.
Come to think of it: you get power to the fuel pump relay - does the relay in fact close and make a secure connection?
