Default 99' D2, front windows and power seats won't move

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone had some advice to this problem. My 1999 D2 keeps popping the 50A fusible link that controls the front window motors and front seat movement. When I push the window buttons, I can hear a clicking from the passenger footwell. The rear windows work fine. I replaced the 50A with a 60A (Stupid, yes.) and they worked for a few months, but now it keeps frying those.
A quick search online has lead me to believe the BCU may be the culprit. A mechanic buddy of mine looked it over for a few hours in his shop and could not find a short.
If anyone has some insight or experience with this, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
