Default 99 Disco Won't Start HELP!!

I've got a 99D1 that will not start. A few weeks ago I replaced the fuel pump and it ran fine til the other day. The check eng. light came on soild then went off then the car just stopped & would not crank back up. I checked the pump again it seems fine, But I did check the to see if I was getting anything to the plugs & the fuel injectors And I Was Not. Could it be the relay? Or any other ideas? HELP!! Rusty

Oh also I hooked up a Autoxray OBD2 reader to get a fault code and it couldn't read it. Is this a common thing for the code readers not to be able to talk to Land Rovers?

Possible crank sensor, pretty common issue.

......I had a guy say it may be the ECU because the Code reader wasn't picking up any signal? But I was thinking if it was the ECU won't that also keep the starter from turning over?

Any signal or any codes? Crank sensors usually won't throw a code.
If it is the ECU, it is going to turn into a larger can of worms.

Think the only signal I got from it was it telling me the key was on. And No codes at all. If it is the ECU, I can get a used one for about 150.00 or so. Would a used one work or is there some sort of programing the dealer has to do?

Have you checked for spark at the plugs?
