Default ABS follow up

Well I went and had my ABS modul replaced on my 2001 disco2. $800 out the door. I go to pick it it up and I hop in the truck, start it up, BAM! No more amigos! I'm thinking two things; sweet, I can go offroading again, and it's weird not seeing the dash lit up with yellow lights. I put it in reverse and the truck moves an inch, and all the lights come back on. I lose my ****. I go back inside, have a few choice words, and I'm told that now it's the front passenger side wheel abs sensor. How much is that going to run me? About $200 more. Promptly lose my cool again. I drove 6 hours to this guy because he told me he could fix it. Guaranteed me when I left, it'd be fixed. My question for anyone still reading, how likely is this? Is it really just the front wheel sensor at this point? If I replace it myself, are the codes going to go away? Is there anyway I can seriously say "audios amigos"?

Sorry to hear of the abs troubles. I would either find someone that has a code reader that reads abs codes, or purchase one. You are shooting in the dark without specific codes that will tell you where the problem is. I hate so see anyone put big bucks into something that may not be needed. Not all code readers will read abs codes, you could ask here on the forum if there are any members in your area with a reader. I am in Austin, Tx and would be happy to help, but not sure your location. Good Luck

I drove the truck around for about 100 miles, over the course of a few days, and when I started the truck, the lights didnt come on until a few seconds later. One morning I was going to work, and the lights just didnt come on! I got to my tow yard and drove in the grass a little bit and the traction control light came on, but it was doing its job. Case closed. It needed a modulator and sensor, they were installed, and it's fixed!
