I wanted to know if there was any way I would be able to change the setting in my LR for the door locks to lock automatically when I put the transmission into Drive. Now the door locks do not lock unless I push the button.
I know the LR dealership will do it for a price, and Im sure it will be a ridiculous price. Anybody know how to do this?

 

The only way to reset the lock operation is by having the dealer use their test book at which time you can reset any and all automatic functions. If you don't want to pay, wait till the check engine light is on and they have to hook up the test book, then maybe they will charge you less since they are alreading having to use it.
