Bent Lifter on 04 Disco

Has anyone encountered a bent lifter on a Discovery? My 04 had was diagnosed with this and I can't figure out what would cause a lifter to bend. Head gasket was replaced a year ago.

Bent pushrod??? Sticky valve.

A sticky valve could defiantly cause this.
