blinking check engine light -intermitant rough run

Default blinking check engine light -intermitant rough run

I have a 2003 disco11 60,000k the truck has a intermitant rough engine and when this happens the check service light blinks

Has it ever been tuned, what octane gas are you running? Go get your codes read and get back to me with the 4 digit fault code numbers so we can have a better idea what is going on.

Thanks Mike got the codes- P0441 egr /evap control sys purge fault and P0306 #6 misfiring

last service 50k by land rover ,running mid grade gas-my wife put reg in it once

The evap code will not effect the way the engine runs, the #6 misfire is common and will cause you problems.
You need to buy some good plugs, either Champion dual platinum of Bosch Platinum Plus 4's and do that as well as the 60K service and tell your wife, she will be riding her bike if she doesn't run high test only, there is no room for debate on that one.
Look at my service list posted on the Discovery section, all that needs to be done.
How mechanical are you?

the plug wires look good no easy by looks to change wha do u think

Mike do you have to gap the bosch +4 plugs ands i can not find your service list .First time user of this site

A big thank you to Discomike had the wires changed and new spark pl;ugs done-runs great-will have all otherr 60k items done
