Is the brake reservoir still full? If it is it's probably differential.

usually the smell alone of gear oil will give it away.

judging from the colour of it on the metal, it looks like brake fluid , but your description (brown/green ) suggest mixture of CV joint grease maybe ?? ... check the booths also , along with other suggestion ..

'07 Range Rover Supercharged 4.2L
Replaced both front struts and differential oil about two months ago with other due services.

I found a pasty black/dark green discharge around the brake connection and around the axle inside the wheel (drivers side)..I checked brake fluid reservoir and it is full...I cleaned everything up and Im waiting to see if it happens again...so far so good but something is leaking.

Going to the Dealership next week ...anything you can tell me before I go I appreciate it.

Thank you for your help [/QUOTE]

I'd guess it is axle grease as brake fluid is more clear, but depending on how much road dirt is on the components, it could look darker. bu my guess is grease.
