1997 300dtdi 185000km just had timing , a/c and fan belts replaced and afew other things done .travelled about 1000kms loud knocking noise while waiting at traffic lights .sump taken off crankshalf broken just in front of first piston. any clues on how when or why it would happen. work carried out by rover specialist.
