Broken wire on top of transfer box

I have a broken or cut wire on the top of my transfer case box. Is this an o2?

O2 is very unlikely.

Depending on what vehicle we are talking about, it could go to the plunger switch that sends a signal to the dash to turn on the indicator light.

For a DI and DII

I have 2000 disco 2. And my indicator light is not working. So what do I do to replace this
