Center Console wiring causing V0121 and V0122
Hi guys... Does anyone know or has anyone heard of wiring/switches in the center console on a 2005 LR3 causing codes V0121 and V0122?
V0122 (Lost communication with the Vehicle Dynamic control module) and V0121 (Lost communication with the Engine control/Powertrain Module).
My dash is lit up like a Christmas tree (Engine, ABS, Traction control, parking brake)...Suspension lowered... HDC unavailable and trans failure message.
Cranks and idles.. shifts... but limited gears available. I've checked all the typical issues on the LR3... Brake Switch replace, TCM replace, brake lights...
wiring in floor sills on both sides... changed batter (12.6 V)... cranked 14.2 volts. So now I'm thinking the wiring in the console behind the switches..
I've heard moisture or spilled drinks there can short out connections behind those switches and the parking brake level.
Anyone heard of this potentially throwing these codes? Anyone have this before and found wiring in console is the issue/
