Hello all 1996 disco 57,000 mile, i have a walmart battery ,1 1/2years old, the battery was $70.00,It just started going dead, I charged it up, it charges to 75% I drive it 5 minutes andturn of car and then it wont start dead battery, Ive cleaned the terminals including the ground to chassis and checked fuses but still the same thing,it just started to get a little cold here in nc,so i was thinking it was the 3 year battery....

 

Check your alternator with the car running to make sure its producing enough voltage.

 

Is your Battery/ ALT light On ??
If so,, its youe Alt,, if not its the battery,,,,,,,,,,,
