D2 Exhaust
Coolant getting into the exhaust can plug the converters. The cold coolant hits the core and then partially burns off leaving carbon deposits. As the carbon builds up, the core begins to clog. The deposits also reduce the area available to clean up the exhaust so they are no longer able to get the job done.
I'll be doing some checking on it next weekend to see if we have any leaks. The code comes and goes, and isn't a constant thing. I just want to make sure that everything is in good working order before I start changing things out.
