Defender steering wheel

Default Defender steering wheel
My Defender steering wheel, originally taken from a period 'Rangie' has decided to turn to gunge. Can I fit a Disco wheel in its place. And if not what else can I use?

Not sure, would imagine the splines are different...the easiest would be to test one, other option is to buy an aftermarket period wheel...most will supply the strreing boss to suit.
