Default dingy

I'm looking at a 2000 Discovery, V8 auto, the local Ford dealer really doesn't know much about the Rover, question is, I tow a car behing our motor home, is the rover towable, can the transfer case be put into neut. or is like FMCompanys Lincoln Navigator, full time all wheel drive. Does anyone know anything about the V 8 motor, does it have any guts, or is it a dog? Thanks folks for any info.

they are a full time 4x4.

put the transmission in neutral, or disconnect driveshafts, or get a trailer good enough where the whole thing fits on it completely off the ground

Long term towing requires drive shaft removal. What is CDL ? Commercial drivers license, center diff lock ? The problem is that the diffs turn the trans output shaft and burn up the trans. Flatbed towing or drive shaft removal is the only way.
