Are you referring to the heater blower motor? What condition is the battery in? Does the Disco start up and run fine? I ask because you mentioned something about jumping.

Anyways if while the vehicle is turned on and the heater/a/c blower motor does not work then either the motor itself has died or a loose connection OR the heater fan assembly is clogged with a bunch of random **** and needs to be cleaned out. I would suggest take out the heater blower motor fan assembly and cleaning it out, then reinstall and see if it works for you. I dont know if any fuses are linked but you might also want to check your fuses to see if any are bad. The owners manual has a diagram of the fuses and their functions.

If your motor ends up being bad then you can settle with a cheap used motor blower assembly. Several members on this forum salvage good used parts from Land Rovers and will offer you very reasonable prices. You can also check out roverlandparts.com they are a company that specializes in the sale of used Land Rover parts.
