Disco 2 Fault Code
Hi All
Am a newbie and looking for some advise on my NAS 1999 Disco 2 v8 4.0. I have a fault code P1592 on my the engine registered codes (Faultmate Extreme) traced to left rear sensor on the slabs recorded codes, still to be pulled cleaned and inspect the reluctor ring. Can this cause the transmission shifting to be effected? As mine is running high revs and poor shifting. I am eliminating the engine as its a rebuilt ACR with all new MAF,Coil,Plugs leads all genuine. Only other codes on the engine are P0141/P0161 both for downstream O2 but if these are faulty should it not default to open loop running and cost me a bit more on fuel until I get the plug heating sorted.

Morning All
Battery now fully charged and alternator charging at 14.5v.Vehicle is behaving like its in limp mode but no MIL light. I think the dash bulb has gone as the Fault mate confirms it is active also cannot see it on initial key on. When engaging drive the RPM needs to be pushed to above 200rpm before it will shift and this does not happen every time. Sometimes it will remain in the same gear
