Default Discovery sport 2020 missing wifi / carplay

I just got a 2020 Discovery Sport with InControl Touch Pro, and I have to say I'm a bit disappointed with the infotainment system. It doesn't have Wi-Fi, there's no place to add a SIM card, no way to update InControl, and no CarPlay. Shouldn't these features be standard in the newer facelift model? Am I missing something?

Hey, so if you open your console and you do not have a sim card slot, it means that your car came without carplay as I have checked with the dealership. Apparently it comes as an extra and not everyone orders it. There is an option to add it using a retrofit carplay integration which connects to the existing infotainment system and existing screen but costs around £500. There are quite a few options available online, I have ordered https://integratedautomotive.co.uk/p...o-upgrade-kit/ but i think there are cheaper options online. I have not installed it yet, I have an apointment to install it in two weeks and will update you.

I was thinking of options like the CarPlay Wireless adapter, like this for example:

but now I will wait to see how it went for you.
