my dome light is in working condition (evidenced by turning on the switch) but when you open the doors, it only flickers intermittently. i have checked all fuses that i am aware of. both back and front are affected. any ideas??

 

mine is doing the same thing, 1995 disco... when i open the door, the dome flashes about 4 or 5 times.... then nothing.
have you been able to find out the problem?
