Default EAS failure keep below 35mph

Weather has been getting colder and I have noticed it takes longer for the rear right to come up after starting, today it kept trying to raise but then I got the message EAS failure, so it's at the shop and I'm waiting to find out what code they come up with.

Should I just put on the spring conversion kit? or just replace the two rear bags? Could it be something else.. I will know more tomorrow.

Gary

Default no More EQS

Well, after waiting for a week for the 2" plus lift kit from Stutmasters I now have my RangeRover back, Yes, it's nice, I paid $597.00 to get the coil springs from them and only $450.00 to AIR Automotive Imports Repairs in Tacoma Wa to install the coils. I'm very happy.

Check the picture out.

Eas is nice to have and has many. many advantages over the coil springs. But once the RR's p38's get up in age and get leaks in the air suspension, it gets costly. First you repair the leaking air bag, then the compressor fails from the added work it had to do, then the valve body...etc. Your talking thousands of dollars.
Coils are a nice alternative, but one warning... I was told by a Land Rover Instructor that these cars were never engineered to have coil springs! But personally, I have never seen any problems with the coil conversions!
good luck!
