Default Heater blower not working

Hi all,
noob here so be gentle
Last night the blower on the heater of the 1994 disco 200tdi stopped blowing and we have no heat. This morning i've replaced the relevant fuse to no avail.
I need to get this sorted by this evening as I'm feryying people about.
Any ideas?
I'm no mechanic by the way but follow simple instructions fairly well and i have access to basic tools 9- socket set, spanners etc.
Many thanks in advance.
Stup'

Doubt that will happen.
Are all your blower speeds out, have you put a test probe to the blower motor wire, was the fuse burned out???
You will most likely find you need a new motor as long as all your blower speeds have failed.

might be fan but most likely a issue with the switch assembly.

the ground for it is in the assembly.

if you dont have test lights and volt meters then take it to somebody with land rover experience.

you need to diagnose the problem before throwing parts at it.

Known areas are the fan speed switch and the fan electrical connector. If you wiggle the speed switch, does it try to work? Look at the blower motor connector under the dah on the passenger side, is it burnt?
good luck!

I had the same issue in my 02 disco. they took the heate panel off and there is a small plastic piece that burns out. the piece is super cheap online or they can rewire without it. Bottom line is the labor is an hour at best so don't let them take you to the cleaners on it.
