Default Easiest way to access the resistor pack

Hey guys,
So I just ordered a new resistor pack off ebay because I am pretty sure mine is kaput. I can see the resistor pack while looking up under the glovebox on the passenger side but there is no way I can get to it easily. Should I remove the center console? The dash? What's the easiest way to reach that darn thing! Here is a diagram of where the resistor is located (11). Thanks for any help

are you absolutely sure its not the head unit. the head unit grounds everything. Before trying to install it use a test light and a volt meter with a copy of the electrical diagram to make sure you have power and ground.

Well the reason that I think it's not the head unit is because I can hear a distinct click coming from the passenger side behind the glove box when I slide it to 1. I dont get anything from 1,2 or 3 but when I get to 4 I get full power to the fan. This leads me to believe that it is bypassing the resistor pack completely and putting full power to the fan. Does that logic make sense? I saw how to remove the head unit for the hvac control in the Rave and I guess I could try the test light. No idea how to use the test light though...

Found the resistor pack sitting very clearly right behind the glove box, don't know how I missed it last time. The resistor has two metal prongs that go back up to the where the wires plug in, in between these two resistors is a metal connection, the connection on mine had popped off because the soldering cam apart. Pretty easy fix if I had a soldering iron, but I bought an extra resistor off ebay. I'll be soldering this one back together and selling it if anyone is interested.
