hi can anyone help?i have a 1996 q plate defender with a td5 implant,at the momeant it is not running,i cant get a reading with my solas from the ecu as it wont comunicate with it,i think there is no power to the ecu as the fuel pump isnt working and if i wire the fuel pump myself the engine wont fire up becouse there is no power from the ecu to tell it to do so,just wondering what fuse or relay powers the ecu up or what wires to check to see if the ecu has power going into it.totaly stuck help.....

As for which fuse I have no idea, just start pulling them and looking for a blown one.

Does it turn over when you try and start it?
Or does it do nothing at all?

Exactly,no check engine means the com is not on to sense if there were anything wrong, theres either a bad ground or no power ,so try checking the harness fuse or relay to the pcm.
