Default First Tune Up

So I just picked up first rover, a 98 disco with 103k miles. I don't know much of the history of the vehicle other than it has been sitting for a few years. I'm about to do some maintenance. Here's what I have so far...oil change with Rotella 15w40, air filter, fuel filter, Champion 322 plugs, Denso wires. I'm a little torn on the trans fluid. I'd like to do a fluid and filter change but have heard it isn't a good idea with my current mileage. What do you guys suggest? Also? Is there anything I should add/change in my list? Thanks!

Changing the fluid and filter is never a bad idea, power flushing is a completely different story.
When you change the fluid and filter you are only replacing approx. 30% of the fluid with new fluid. Power flushing replaces 100% of the fluid which has a tendency to dislodge particles.
What is suggest is to change the fluid twice over several monthes, then do a final change with filter.
the reasoning on that the new fluid will slow disolve any particle which will be drained out.
Also i believe it is a pia to change your filter, i believe you have to drop the exhaust or crossmember.
