Default Front Cover Gasket Set Help

Hey guys, this is my brothers account, but I am fixing his car... So, I need to find (preferably an aftermarket) front gasket set. So far I gather that I need the timing cover gasket, oil pan gasket, water pump gasket and front main seal. Is there anything else I would need? Also if you guys know where are some good places I could get this stuff, that would be a BIG help.

on a side note - I have a concern about his oil pump, I have read about oil pump failures on this cars. His is a 03 and 130XXX on it. I heard that if it fails it fails early on. Should I replace it?

Thanks guys!

I like Rovers North, if they don't have it Atlantic British usually does. At that mileage I would replace the thermostat and water pump if it has not been done already.

Get the ford fan clutch tool from Advancerd auto.

I am told get the OEM front seal, cheapos don't seal well.

As far as the oil pump I would find out for sure if your's / his is in the recall range first. Identified by the VIN no., and on the dealers/ manufactures recall lists.

Do a search in the forums here for the oil pump issue and the rest of the parts you are replacing you should get some good advise. Also I believe there is a "sticky" or "walk through" on replacing the front cover and associated gaskets.
