Default fuel reset button on 98 disco???

I have a 98 disco i just bought and it runs only if you spray gas into the intake. It s probably the fuel pump and/or the fuel filter. I was wandering if there is a fuel system reset button that may be tripped somewhere. Anybody know??

Look on the passenger side of the firewall, do you see a black switch, not sure if you have one, if there push the top of it and see if it makes a difference.
If not check your fuse, possibly replace your fuel pump relay and for sure change your filter.
If still not working, then how mechanical are you?

Fuel filter is in the right rear wheel arch.
You can verify if it's your pump or not by bypassing all the electrics and running a fused 15amp supply to the fuel pump and see if you can get it to run.
