HELLOVA SHAKE and a CLICKITY CLICK
[:-]Hello, I am new to LR ownership and am just learning my trucks quirks. Have learned alot already just reading posts from others, but have not found the topic which troubles me. I have a 97 discovery that when excellerating in a turn at low speed makes a "clicking "noise in the front end. If clutch is depressed there is no noise in the turn. I noticed this turning into my driveway at low speed, so went out and messed with it and realized that it does not click when clutch is depressed. Also get the "HELLOVA" shake when hitting a bump at 50mph or above-dRIVE SHAFT BUSHING?. Found thread on this issue but was wondering if these issues may be related. Any help is appreciated as I am a newbie to rovers.

Your shake could be anything in the front end, mainly steering componets, front end preload or steering stabilizer.

Thanks for the tips. Will inspect CV's . Read thread on preload, but also read that an improperly balanced or bent drive shaft, or bad U's can cause this. Will have to wait on the preload adjustment as I am affraid to attempt unil my repair manual arrives. Thanks again! Rob
